Hey there! I'm a 17-year-old first-generation college bound student born on May 8th, 2006, in Canton, Georgia.
I have a passion for sports and academics, filming football games on Friday nights and managing the boys' basketball team at my high school. Beyond sports, I'm an avid reader with aspirations to write my own stories and novels.
In high school, I delved into the MAGNET program, an academic honors pathway, and completed an engineering pathway covering mechanical, electrical, and architectural aspects. It pathed me a path to be recognized by professionals. I presented a material science project I developed—an innovative football girdle aimed at reducing injuries on the field- to a panel of people and admin at Georgia Tech.
Aside from academics, I'm a big nerd when it comes to comics, especially Marvel and DC. I grew up surrounded by a family that participated in comic cons and going to comic bookstores, so it was a big gateway for me to get into it.
Looking towards the future, my goal is to carve a path in sports communication management, possibly working with major league teams. I want to encourage the next generation, particularly girls while also emphasizing that roles beyond the playing field—like coaches, managers, and athletic trainers—play crucial roles in sports.
My long-term vision includes pursuing a career in sports communication or venturing into business management, aspiring to be a CEO. I aim to make an impact, organizing and leading in significant ways. While reaching for these aspirations, I also look forward to enjoying my college experience, meeting new people, and broadening my horizons beyond the small town where I grew up.
Ultimately, I'm driven by a desire for success and independence, aiming to leave my mark in both the sports and business worlds. I'm excited about what the future holds and the opportunities that lie ahead!
